One star off only for the fact that the indoor eating space isn't the greatest, so now that I got that out of the way - WOW, I love this kind of food - seek it everywhere I go - Berlin, Istanbul, Athens....and this is one of the best I've had. The tahini is a smooth silky flavor bomb, and they give you a lot. The stuffed falafel with grilled onions and sumac...exactly right crispy on the outer crust and tender and delicious on the inside. The rice that is on the "plate" style order is incredible - spiced, tender, and has stuff in it - maybe lentils? Maybe bits of lamb? Whatever it is, tear off a piece of the lavash, slather some tahini on it, crack open those falafel and put a chunk on there, add a few of the chopped tomatoes and cucumbers...omg now I'm going to have to get my leftovers out of the fridge and eat some more. Even the little pot of hot sauce is amazing. I thank all that is holy that I live less than a mile from this place. Plus they are really nice in there. I wish they would close the door tho, I was kind of chilly, but it was ok since I wasn't eating there.

Absolutely delicious, and good service! They technically have a patio, but it's a little rough, so it's more of a to-go place. I got the chicken shawarma wrap, and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My son loved his beef and lamb gyro. Generous portions, and very reasonably priced.

Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and it was so yummy! The salad on the side had a good dressing too. Fresh food, hot, and delicious. Friendly and quick service. I liked the music they were playing inside.

This place is legit. Great wraps -- especially the falafel and chicken shawarma. The fries, though pretty standard in one way, may be my favorite fries in the east bay. I live too close, I want them all the time. Big portion, too. The baklava is okay, not quite as impressive as the foods mentioned above. I'd still get it, but I generally come for falafel and fries. Tasty, well made, well constructed. Nice staff.

I love this place! They are friendly the service was quick and the food is amazing, very complex flavors with an authentic punch.

What a hidden gem. Best bang for your buck for healthy options. The little outside back area was nice and quiet. Service was good. They're friendly. Most items were $11.99. I got the mezza plate, for veggie option. My only issue is that the dolmas were really sour. I know some are made like that though. Other than that I was quite satisfied.

We were in town for an appointment and depended on Yelp for a good dinner choice walking distance from my appointment and our prime parking spot. Thanks Yelpers for brining us here! We especially liked that they have outdoor space, and this space is lovely. It has traffic noise if someone honks their horn, but is also completely shaded with covering and has tall wooded fence walls to shut out the commotion on the other side. We ordered at the counter and then the friendly man helping us, who turned out to be the owner, said he'd be happy to bring our food to us outside. There were plenty of choices for veggie eaters and meat eaters. I was happy to see all of my favorites. I had the gyro wrap with a side order of baba ghanoush and pita. My wife had a stuffed falafel plate. That was a lot of food! Going directly to the baba ghanoush, it was amazing. The best I've ever had. Not at all too oily, nice and smoky, and very creamy. The pita were perfect with it. They were a whole grain, maybe wheat, and on the thin side. I was pleased to have them as a vehicle for my baba ghanoush. The gyro was delicious, wrapped in a similar thin wrap. It was very flavorful and didn't taste over cooked or like it had been under a warming light for a long time. It was topped with a yogurt sauce and I added their spicy sauce. If you like spicy, be sure to give this a try! It is a great combination of spices and meets its purpose of adding tasty oomph well! On the plate is a salad of greens, cucumbers, and tomatoes in a light vinaigrette type dressing. The wrap is a great meal choice! It's plenty of food as is and is less expensive than the plate. The plate includes the same and adds rice. I wasn't in the mood for rice and had opted for the baba on the side, so this was a great choice for me. My wife selected the stuffed falafel plate. The plate comes with hummus, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, rice, pita bread and 3 falafel. With her first bite she said, I'm so used to falafel being dry and they aren't dry at all. They sure weren't! They are stuffed with sesame, green onion and sumac and each coated with a sauce. They are flavorful inside down to the middle, no dryness anywhere. She did get the rice, which had additions of peas, corns and green onions. We opted for dessert as well, a piece of Turkish delight and baklava. We were to full to have it there but are excited to take it home and try it when we are ready. I am sure it will pretty darn amazing.

Location: parking is hard but that's everywhere in Berkeley. Great tasting food and price is reasonable! Must have: Grilled Chicken, chicken Shawarma and Baklava!!! They are fast and pleasant. Khalid ka welcoming and honest. Place is small, but they have a good backyard seating.
